Stolac is a town in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a rich cultural, artistic and historical heritage and a municipality with the largest number of cultural monuments in the country. The Mak Dizdar Foundation initiated a project called Stolac: Crossroads of Civilisations or short StolacX, who’s goal is to create a new tourist route that includes cultural monuments from four historical periods - ancient, medieval, Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian. Tourist signage has been installed and a new Centre for the Interpretation of Cultural Heritage has been equipped.
